A Gulfport player won $200,000 on Powerball, and tonight's jackpot is $835 million
The Daily Biloxi team
If you played Powerball in Gulfport on Monday, dig out your ticket. One player there matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball and won $200,000 after the $1 Power Play option multiplied a $50,000 prize. The winning ticket was sold at Lorraine Chevron.

Nobody hit the jackpot, so tonight's drawing is worth an estimated $835 million. That's the second-largest Powerball jackpot of the year, behind the $1.04 billion won in Illinois on Aug. 12, and the 10th-largest in the game's history. We'd call a $2 ticket a cheap daydream.
