- ➤ Freight distribution and supply chain management provider Averitt Express is expanding its Mississippi operations with a more than $9 million investment that will upgrade its Richland location by building a 150,000-square-foot logistics facility — creating 27 new jobs in Rankin County. - ➤ Thousands gathered at Jones Park during Cruise Central to view classic cars and honor Jim Bryant, whose 1957 Chevrolet was completed by his family as a final tribute—celebrating his passion after his December 2023 passing. The car will appear at several coastal events this week. WXXV 25
