The University of Southern Mississippi was awarded over $3 million from NOAA's RESTORE Science Program to lead long-term research on seagrass and coastal ecosystems in the Gulf.
The project, led by professor M. Zachary Darnell, will study water quality & ecosystem changes for five years with potential follow-on funding.
