- ➤ The Greater Biloxi Economic Development Foundation has launched a Community Façade Grant Program in partnership with the city and Mississippi Power to help property owners upgrade building exteriors on Pass Road and Division Street. Eligible projects receive up to $5,000 plus 50% reimbursement on approved costs, awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Gazebo Gazette
- ➤ Travelers heading to visit family this holiday week can use safety tips from Mississippi Highway Patrol's Landon Orozco, who advises careful planning on busy Gulf Coast roads. WXXV 25
- ➤ Back Bay Mission handed out about 150 gift baskets of food and essentials along with over 80 cots for the unhoused last week ahead of Christmas. On Wednesday night, Christmas Eve, the organization will host a bonfire on the beach near the planned Veterans Avenue Pier. WXXV 25

- ➤ Beach Elementary students were honored as one of Mississippi's first Blue Ribbon Schools on Dec. 12 in Gulf Coast, when officials, board members, and past contributors from Trent Lott Academy joined the celebration. - ➤ NASA’s Stennis Space Center near the Gulf Coast marked 2025 by supporting Artemis with RS-25 engine tests in June and November.
