- ➤ Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s Student Veterans of America Chapter donated backpacks filled with essentials (blankets, hats, gloves, scarves, and hygiene products) to support homeless veterans at the Biloxi VA Medical Center on Dec. 16. The Harrison County group organized the drive to help veterans in need. WXXV 25
- ➤ Harrison County Friends of Court hosted its fourth annual toy drive Friday morning at the Lyman Senior Center to bring holiday cheer to children in custody and guardianship cases. The group seeks additional volunteer case workers with training scheduled Jan. 13 + 15. WXXV 25
