- ➤ At Beau Rivage, resort employees awarded grant checks to three nonprofits through the MGM Resorts Foundation & Corporate Responsibility Grant Funds, awarding $20,000 to Canopy Children’s Solutions, over $7,200 to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Gulf Coast, and $15,000 to the Community Care Network. - ➤ Today at Keesler Air Force Base, two airmen rescued a kitten trapped in an engine bay; the pet now has a loving home and the event reminds residents to check their vehicles for animals seeking warmth as temperatures drop. WXXV 25
- ➤ On Thursday morning, the Salvation Army gave out wrapped gifts to local families at the Center of Hope in Gulfport. Volunteers handed out items to children in need who had registered earlier this fall for the Angel Tree program. WXXV 25
