- ➤ Our Lady Academy students donated 5,200 canned goods to St. Clare’s St. Vincent de Paul Society during their annual 'Can the Teacher' food drive to help families in need this holiday season. The drive, which featured friendly competition among teachers and students, shows local compassion (students and faculty worked together). Gazebo Gazette
- ➤ The Pass Pet Pawrade took place on Sunday, Dec. 7 at War Memorial Park after a weather-related reschedule; registration began at 1:00 p.m. (with a $10 fee) benefiting Animal A.I.D. of Mississippi RESCUE as costumed pets paraded and competed. Gazebo Gazette

- ➤ America250 Mississippi grants have funded projects for nonprofits, including Long Beach’s 4th of July Jubilee on June 27 in downtown Long Beach, a quilt project by Lynn Meadows Discovery Center in Gulfport, and an arts initiative by The Arts of Bay St. Louis — applications for 2026 grants are open. - ➤ On Dec. 6, in Pass Christian, Robert St. John held a book signing for his new cookbook, Mississippi Christmas, at Cat Island Coffee House which featured a warm gathering highlighting his signature Five F’s (faith, family, friends, food, fun).
