- ➤ Winners for the 47th annual Peter Anderson Arts and Crafts Festival were announced in Ocean Springs. Makenzie Miley of Oxford won Best of Show for her functional art bowls—Rachael DePauw received the Peter Anderson Legacy Award, Rachael Walker earned the Award of Excellence for bird inspired paintings, David Self was honored with the Award for the Creative Arts for his stoneware vessels, and Stephanie Robertson won Best Booth for her handmade jewelry; the festival will be held on November 7 and 8, 2026. - ➤ On December 4, Biloxi will host the annual Christmas Lighting of the Biloxi Lighthouse from 5:30 to 7 p.m.—the event features Santa visits, hot chocolate, cookies, caroling by the Nativity Children’s Choir, and a Christmas shirt and ornament available for purchase. WXXV 25
