🎓 Education
The Mississippi Aquarium in Gulfport has opened applications for its Tidal Teens program that gives teens a behind-the-scenes look at aquarium life and career paths.
Interested applicants have until December 31 to join the program — which offers a free shirt, flexible scheduling, career week, and a special graduation celebration.
🏛️ Government
Coast Transit Authority announced that on Thanksgiving Day all fixed-route bus services will run on a Sunday schedule and normal service will resume Friday, November 28.
The CTA office will close Wednesday, November 26 at 3 p.m.—it will reopen Monday, December 1 at 8 a.m.
Biloxi sign shop crews are giving downtown park signs a fresh look by sanding, repainting, and detailing the lettering (to help residents and visitors find their way).
City leaders said the work (designed to make the area more welcoming) supports ongoing efforts to improve downtown.
