- ➤ Due to warnings from the Mississippi Board of Animal Health about a deadly horse virus, Patriot Pro Rodeo postponed the DeSoto County Pro Rodeo in Nesbit to December 12-13 to keep horses and fans safe—protecting everyone from a potential outbreak. The board noted that while the virus has caused problems in Texas and Oklahoma, no cases have been confirmed in Mississippi. SuperTalk Mississippi Media
