- ➤ Jackson County Animal Shelter has announced its ninth annual food and supply drive called the All Creatures Big and Small Drive, which will be held at Quake’s in Ocean Springs on November 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.—donations can be dropped off from November 10 through November 24, including Purina pet food, collars, leashes, harnesses, medical supplies, hygiene items, and linens, with pets available for adoption during the event. - ➤ Witches Ride of Ocean Springs raised over $22,500 for six local animal welfare agencies — Feral Feline Coalition, Friends of the Jackson County Animal Shelter, Jackson County Animal Shelter, Wild at Heart Rescue, Tired Dog Rescue, and the Spay/Neuter Impact Project. The group thanked every witch and volunteer who participated. WXXV 25
- ➤ Grace Baptist Church in Ocean Springs is hosting a Veterans Day ceremony today at 10 a.m. with music, video presentations, and a speech by retired Marine Don Drake — attendees will receive a free Thanksgiving meal after the service. WXXV 25

- ➤ On Tuesday, Memorial Health System reached a major milestone when Dr. Theresa Case performed the first robotic bronchoscopy procedure that helps doctors check smaller lung areas to spot problems sooner.
