- ➤ The Gulf Coast Veterans Parade will roll through Downtown Gulfport this weekend at 11 a.m.—an event honoring veterans—and is scheduled to travel a set route through downtown. WXXV 25

- ➤ The 47th annual Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival will take place in downtown Ocean Springs on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The free event will feature live music, art vendors, demonstrations, a marine education area, and a children’s market, with several streets closed for shuttle and accessible parking. - ➤ John Carter and Randy Richardson announced that the MS Sneaker Culture Convention will be held on November 16 at the MGCCC Hospitality Center on the Harrison County Campus. VIP access costs $25 (10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.) and general admission is $10 (12 p.m. to 5 p.m.). WXXV 25

- ➤ At Lee-Triplett stadium, Pearl River Central Blue Devils beat Picayune Maroon Tide 28—21 after a strong second-half comeback to clinch a playoff spot and notch their first win over Picayune since 2015, while Picayune ended its season 8-2 and will soon learn its first playoff matchup. WXXV 25
