- ➤ St. Dominic Health celebrated a milestone as Dr. Paul Seago completed his 3,000th robotic surgery. He first used the da Vinci system in 2005 and has mentored many surgeons across Mississippi+ the hospital now operates three suites with the latest da Vinci 5 systems. SuperTalk Mississippi Media

- ➤ A free golf tournament for veterans will be held at Hickory Hill Country Club and Resort on November 10 with tee off at 8 a.m.—Ricky Decoteau explained the event will offer veterans a chance to participate in the game. WXXV 25
- ➤ At West Harrison High School, seniors Cameron Sandel and Dezi Curley signed Baseball scholarships Friday evening—Sandel accepted a deal with Southwest Mississippi Community College while Curley signed with Holmes Community College, and both are set for their final season with the Hurricanes. - ➤ Biloxi Indians beat West Harrison 42-35 in overtime to keep their playoff hopes alive; they led 14-7 early and West Harrison fought back to force extra time—leaving a tight race for the final Class 7A spot with St. Martin. The Indians will face rival D'Iberville next Thursday at 7 p.m. as other game results decide the final standings—Biloxi fans watch closely. WXXV 25
- ➤ The East Central Hornets won the Pascagoula River Bowl 27-24 over Vancleave in a high school football game in Jackson County. Vancleave led early but the Hornets rallied and will play the Stone Tomcats in Wiggins next week while the Bulldogs travel to Purvis. WXXV 25
- ➤ Picayune Maroon Tide won a close class 6-A region 4 game against Gautier Gators with a score of 35-31 to earn their 5th straight region title. Picayune will play their last regular season game at home against Pearl River Central while Gautier will face Pascagoula on November 6th. WXXV 25
- ➤ Buddy Mills, a 1986 D'Iberville High School graduate, was honored at the Warriors game against the Gulfport Admirals last Friday — the school presented him with a football and a jersey at the pre-game ceremony and declared the event as his special game night at halftime. WXXV 25
