- ➤ A Night in Blue will take place today at IP Casino Resort to honor police officers, firefighters, and all first responders while remembering those taken in the line of duty—State Representative Zach Grady provided additional details on the special event. WXXV 25

- ➤ Nativity BVM Catholic School will hold its Halloween Carnival on Saturday, October 25 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.—the event will offer fun activities for students and families. WXXV 25
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport will host a TSA Precheck Enrollment event next week from October 21 through 24 to help travelers apply for easier screening — the enrollment hours are from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. WXXV 25
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Golfers from 14 top teams including Ole Miss—Mississippi State—and Southern Miss played a pre-tournament round on Friday at the third annual Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational. The three-day event begins today at 9:30 a.m. and will end with a final round on Monday while spectators enjoy free admission, food trucks, concessions, and jumbotrons showing football games. WXXV 25
- ➤ Our Lady Academy volleyball team won its fourth straight Class 3A State Championship by beating Alcorn Central in three sets at A. E. Woods Coliseum on Thursday morning. Senior Myah Favre was named MVP and got the Miss Volleyball Award for Class 3A — while senior Reagan Krebs received the BSN Student Athlete Award. WXXV 25
- ➤ The Ocean Springs Lady Greyhounds clinched their first ever Class 7A Volleyball State Championship title at Mississippi College—winning in three straight sets and earning accolades for sophomore libero Alden St. Amant as Most Valuable Player and senior Anna Hoffmayer as BSN Sports Scholar Athlete.
