  • Today, thousands of classic hot rods and sleek muscle cars are rolling down Highway 90 in Gulfport as Cruisin’ the Coast lights up Jones Park with live music, car parades, and local vendors—bringing the auto tradition and community pride to the Mississippi Gulf Coast.   • On Thursday, September 25, Pass Christian High School was named the top coastal high school and the second in the state while teachers and students celebrated the recognition—marking a milestone in Pirate Nation.   • Kroger is recalling its products—basil pesto bowtie salad and smoked mozzarella penne salad—from over 1,800 stores in Mississippi due to a potential Listeria contamination alert the FDA issued on Saturday.   • Our Lady Academy volleyball player Myah Favre won the Class 3A C-Spire Miss Volleyball award for a second year in a row—she posted 549 kills, 204 digs, 61 blocks and 63 aces in 106 sets while leading the nation with a 0.588 hitting percentage.  WXXV 25
  • The defending National Champion LSU Tigers will travel to Keesler Federal Park for the Hancock Whitney Classic on November 1st and November 2nd.   • Eleven Coast high school golfers and coach DJ Elkins have been named 2025 South All-Stars by the Mississippi Association of Coaches — including Biloxi’s Brayden Yard — and will compete on November 4 at The Azaleas at Dancing Rabbit Golf Club in Philadelphia.  WXXV 25
