- ➤ North Bay Civitan Club President Keith Wilson said club members will collect bears at the D’Iberville Promenade Shopping Center tomorrow from 10:45 a.m. until 2 p.m.+ the 16th annual Bears on Patrol drive is a community service project. WXXV 25
- ➤ D'Iberville celebrated its Homecoming Week with a parade through downtown as elementary schools and the high school sent class floats, student groups, and homecoming maids while beads, candy, and toys fell to onlookers. Homecoming week concludes today—when the Warriors host Pascagoula on the gridiron. WXXV 25
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Country star Jason Aldean will perform in Biloxi and Tupelo in January during his Full Throttle Tour 2026 — his live shows will give fans a chance to enjoy his hit country songs. SuperTalk Mississippi Media
- ➤ The Biloxi Fire Museum is celebrating 25 years today in the historic fire station on Howard Avenue and has kept over 100 years of our fire history alive. The museum will host a gala from 5 to 7 p.m.—live music, food, and refreshments will be offered while guests are asked to donate $25. WXXV 25

- ➤ Gulfport Councilman Ron Roland’s family said he made steady strides in his recovery after suffering a serious fall and head injury in late July—he told people he looks forward to returning home to serve his community. WXXV 25
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Charlie Swearingen, a Gulfport native flight paramedic with AirCare 3 in Columbus, was honored with the Tim Hynes Award at the Critical Care Transport Medicine Conference in St. Louis earlier this year—recognizing his leadership and commitment to patient care. He has over two decades of experience in critical care transport and is also known for his Paralympic achievements and contributions to training programs. Gazebo Gazette
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The Hancock boys and girls golf teams won at the Tornado Classic as the boys team scored 306 with Rowdy Foster shooting a 72 and the girls team scored 184 with Kaylee Mays as runner up—both teams were State Champions last season and plan to compete for another title. WXXV 25
- ➤ Our Lady Academy’s Myah Favre was named Student Athlete of the Week after showing strong skills on the volleyball court along the Gulf Coast. She scores and sets up her teammates well—helping the Crescents succeed in every game. WXXV 25
- ➤ On Thursday night, the Biloxi Shuckers ended their season with a 4—2 loss to the Montgomery Biscuits in game two of the Southern League Division Series at Keesler Federal Park. Right-handed pitcher Jaron DeBerry started the game and 18 year old Jesús Made hit a 363 foot home run in the third inning before Montgomery scored four runs in the eighth inning to take the lead.
