  • The Junior Auxiliary of Ocean Springs-Biloxi will host its Homecoming Closet on September 6 at In the Zone in Ocean Springs—students can shop from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the public from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.  WXXV 25

CRIME NEWS

  • Biloxi Police say a white tractor trailer hit a white car and left the scene on I-10 westbound near Shriner’s Blvd Exit 41 around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday—anyone with information should call 228-435-6112.  WXXV 25
  • D’Iberville police are searching for a white male suspect who robbed Hancock Whitney Bank on 3rd Avenue and D’Iberville Blvd by entering to use the restroom and returning with a note for cash at 3 p.m. Wednesday—he fled on foot and the investigation continues.  WXXV 25

SPORTS NEWS

  • Pass High Pirates opened the season today with a 49-20 win over Long Beach Bearcats at Francis McDonald Field in the Oyster Bowl—quarterback Paris Trivillion threw four touchdowns and the team jumped to a 28-0 lead at halftime. The Pirates will play on the road at Purvis on Friday at 7 p.m.  Gazebo Gazette
