- ➤ Mississippi residents will receive help with their power bills when Mississippi Power Foundation donates $350,000 to United Way to ease energy costs during extreme temperatures — the funds will be given out through Catholic Charities to those who can show financial need. WXXV 25

- ➤ Governor Reeves announced a youth mental wellness platform for children and teens that will support 29 public school districts in low income and moderate income areas. The program—developed with Canopy Children's Solution and the Mississippi Development Authority—will offer digital tools, weekly lessons and real-time support to help young residents access timely care. - ➤ The state is partnering with local nonprofit Canopy Children’s Solutions to launch a $16 million mental wellness program called Canopy Anywhere for students in grades 6–12, which is available in Biloxi Public School District and 28 other districts. The platform—accessible via school-provided devices—will offer digital tools, weekly lessons, and care navigation to quickly connect students and families with needed support.
