- ➤ State Senior Medicare Patrol says scammers are spoofing phone numbers and using false details to offer Medicare-covered genetic testing—beneficiaries are warned not to share personal information and are advised to call the hotline at 1-877-272-8720 if they receive such calls. WXXV 25
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Amtrak passenger rail service will return to the Gulf Coast on August 18, running twice daily between New Orleans and Mobile+ the train will stop in Bay St. Louis, Gulfport, Biloxi and Pascagoula with fares starting at $15 and discounts for kids, students, seniors and veterans. A celebratory inaugural run is scheduled for August 16. WXXV 25
