  • The Mississippi Aquarium is celebrating Military Appreciation Weekend by offering free admission to active duty, reservists and veterans plus discounted tickets for their families from May 22nd through May 25th. Guests must show a valid military ID to take part in this weekend offer.  WXXV 25
  • Pass Christian Harbor will host the annual Kids Fishing Rodeo today with fishing from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and an award ceremony at 10:30 a.m., open to children ages 2 to 16; bait + donuts and drinks will be provided.  WXXV 25

  • Mississippi Power crews train year-round as hurricane season begins on June 1 and leaders have finalized storm plans to upgrade the grid for winds up to 150 mph; customers are urged to make safety plans.  WXXV 25

  • Axl the dolphin at the Mississippi Aquarium turned 16 over the weekend and passed his driver's test with flying colors, celebrating with fellow residents and his favorite toys in the pool area. The birthday marks a fun milestone for the community.  WXXV 25
  • The Walter Anderson Museum of Art is hosting the Fisheye Film Festival in Ocean Springs from Wednesday, June 11 to Friday, June 13 to celebrate local filmmakers and their work on environmental activism.  WXXV 25
