- ➤ The 33rd annual Mississippi Gulf Coast Youth for Christ Golf Tournament is set to tee off at 8 a.m. on May 30 at Sunkist Country Club. Executive Director Brad Holt invited locals to call 228-365-0932 for more information. WXXV 25
- ➤ The splash pad at Harper McCaughan Town Green in Long Beach is closed today through Sunday for Bikin the Beach, and visitors can still use other parts of the town green until it reopens after the event. WXXV 25
- ➤ Drivers in Biloxi face intermittent lane closures on Popp’s Ferry Road from Atkinson Road to Pass Road today from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. as crews work to install a water tap. WXXV 25
- ➤ Law enforcement launched the 'Click it or Ticket' campaign on May 11 and it will run until May 31 + patrols and TV ads in English and Spanish will remind drivers to buckle up. Officials noted that in 2024 an unbuckled person died in a crash every 54 minutes. WXXV 25

- ➤ Maringouin, a new restaurant and hidden speakeasy, will open this Friday at the Roost Hotel in Ocean Springs. The venue serves French-Cajun cuisine and craft cocktails for hotel guests. WXXV 25

- ➤ Pass Christian Public School District earned the 2025–2026 National Beta District of Distinction honor for strong academics, leadership, and service engagement — a recognition given as every eligible school inducts qualifying students in grades 4–12.
