- ➤ The Movers for Moms campaign by Two Men and a Truck ended as the Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence received donations of hair care products, laundry detergent, towels, and sheets—while the Women’s Resource Center got essential baby care items to support local families. WXXV 25

- ➤ Gulfport Police have named Jordan Johnson as the suspect in a Cinco de Mayo shooting at Azteca’s on Highway 49—he is considered armed and dangerous and is wanted for first-degree murder after leaving the scene following an argument with the victim. WXXV 25
- ➤ Moss Point Police are asking for information about the death of 41-year-old Cassie Dunn—whose body was found near the Highway 63 Bridge on April 1, 2024—and anyone with even small details is urged to call. WXXV 25

- ➤ For the sixth year in a row, Cruisin’ the Coast has been voted as the nation’s best car event after voters chose it in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards from 20 nominated events.
