  • Susie Davis presents 'Giving Local' featuring The Never Quit Foundation, a charity run by the Ramage Family that raises funds for local residents with terminal illnesses and medical expenses in memory of their late father—Davis, a former terminal cancer patient in remission, serves on the board and helps organize the annual Spider’s Charity Golf Tournament.  WXXV 25

  • Deacon Eddie Shed, a trusted member of The Empowerment Ministries Christian Center, died from a shooting on April 13 while trying to calm a dispute at an Easter celebration in Gulfport — funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 19.  WXXV 25

  • Chandyfest 2025 will be held in Gulfport this weekend to mark its tenth year. Gina Prater from WXXV News 25 said the festival will feature fun activities for families — the event shows a strong local tradition.  WXXV 25

  • Biloxi Ward 3 challenger Robert Nail spoke on WXXV about his planned changes ahead of the runoff election and will run against longtime incumbent Dixie Newman + runoff polls will open Tuesday, April 22nd.  WXXV 25

  • The No. 1 Mississippi Gulf Coast Bulldogs came from behind Tuesday at Shiloh Ridge Golf Club in Corinth to win their third straight MACCC Championship by beating No. 6 Meridian by three shots — Ludvig Behring secured the Tommy Snell Medalist with a 2-under finish.  Gazebo Gazette
