- ➤ Filming wrapped in Ocean Springs as John Travolta finished shooting his thriller Cash Out 3 - a film in which he plays Danny, a man forced into a bank robbery gone wrong. Travolta walked on Washington Avenue to recite his lines and used Leather and Pearls as his green room while the film is slated for release in 2026. WXXV 25

- ➤ Yesterday, the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies hosted a sea turtle release — one Kemp’s Ridley turtle was released into Mississippi Sound — marking another success in rehabilitating cold-stunned turtles. WXXV 25

- ➤ Some Mississippi driver service bureaus will offer weekend hours to help residents get their Real ID before it is needed for boarding flights or entering federal facilities. The only Coast location on Highway 67 will be open on Saturdays April 12th, 26th and May 3rd and residents must bring a birth certificate, social security card and two proofs of residency. WXXV 25
- ➤ MDOT warned residents of new toll troll scams involving a fake Mississippi Department of Transportation website—scammers ask for toll fees even though the agency does not collect them and the state has no toll roads. WXXV 25
