- ➤ Two MGCCC students from Jackson County Campus earned top honors when Emma King won first place in Digital Art and Ciara Ano took third in Drawing at the state art competition. Emma will continue her studies at the University of South Alabama for Animation and Communication and Ciara plans to transfer to Mississippi State University for Interior Design — a clear sign of their talent and hard work. - ➤ On April 2, HII hosted U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Eric Austin and other officers at Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula—where the group toured the shipyard and saw two amphibious warships under construction.
