- ➤ Southern Living released its Top 20 Beach Getaways list today, and nearby Ocean Springs ranked No. 19 for its accessible beaches, dining, lodging and vibrant arts scene. The city adds this honor to its many accolades including being named the friendliest small town. SuperTalk Mississippi Media
- ➤ Thousands attended the Gulf Coast Celebration of Hope at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum over the weekend, where Will Graham (grandson of Billy Graham) preached and live Christian music uplifted the crowd. WXXV 25
- ➤ Legendary band The Doobie Brothers will perform two shows at Brandon Amphitheater on Wednesday, Oct. 14, and at Mississippi Coast Coliseum two days later in October. - ➤ The Mississippi Department of Education named educator Cody Eadie and principal Patrick Bennett as finalists for the 2026 Administrator and Teacher of the Year awards — winners will receive a $5,000 stipend. They will be announced on Apr. 17 at the Jackson Convention Complex. WXXV 25
- ➤ On March 20, the Pass Christian Chamber hosted a State of Education Address at the Yacht Club where Superintendent Evers and district leaders shared academic records and future plans such as the $86 million Raise the Cain campaign for a new performing arts center + community members heard student voices.
