GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Twelve new recruits began their firefighter training at Biloxi Fire Department (Feb. 11) and will spend the next four and a half months mastering vital skills, discipline, and teamwork. Six firefighters from nearby agencies will join the program to bolster the growing brotherhood. WXXV 25
- ➤ Mississippi DPS is hosting a Draw Your Heart contest with Donate Life Mississippi. Local winners will have their artwork displayed at DPS offices; the grand prize design will appear at the Canton office + on staff shirts, with submissions due March 16 and winners announced later in the month.
