- ➤ The Krewe of Nereids will host their annual Tableau Ball on Jan. 24 at 8 p.m. at the Coast Coliseum while Angelyn Zeringue shares details on how locals can attend. WXXV 25

- ➤ Two Mississippi Gulf Coast students were selected for the United States Senate Youth Program and will join senators for Washington Week from March 7 to March 14 in Washington, D.C. - ➤ USM hosted an acoustic demonstration off Gulfport this week, teaming with Ole Miss, Hyperion Technology Group, BLUEiQ and SeaTrac to test autonomous platforms and advanced sensors on its research vessel R/V Ken Barbor (boosting the blue economy) into commercial shipping, coastal resilience and national defense.
